Terms of Use
Effective date: July 17, 2026
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Version: 2026-07-17
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Mohammad Hassani, an individual developer based in California, United States ("we," "us," or "Moro"). They govern the Moro iPhone app, App Clip, invitation pages, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accepting these Terms in Moro, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. By using Moro, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the registration information you provide is accurate.
You also represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on a United States government prohibited or restricted-party list.
2. Your account
Moro uses Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for your Apple account, your devices, and activity performed through your Moro account. Do not share authentication credentials or allow someone else to impersonate you. Tell us promptly at contact@thragna.com if you believe your account or an invitation has been compromised.
Use a truthful display identity that your friends can recognize. You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your affiliation, create accounts to evade enforcement, or automate account creation. We may require fresh authentication for sensitive actions such as account deletion.
3. What Moro does—and does not promise
Moro helps people who already know one another privately test interest in an activity and, if enough people are Down, plan it together.
- The creator of an idea is visibly Down.
- Each invitee's Down, Maybe, Pass, or nonresponse is private from friends before a match.
- When the stated threshold is reached, only members who were Down are revealed to one another as the match group.
- Maybe and Pass are never revealed to friends.
Private does not mean socially anonymous. Friends may infer interest from context, especially in a small circle. Moro does not guarantee a match, attendance, compatibility, friendship, venue quality, personal safety, or that a plan will happen. You remain responsible for deciding whom to meet, where to go, and whether an activity is appropriate.
Moro is not an emergency, location-monitoring, transportation, medical, legal, financial, or safety service. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local service.
4. Limited license
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Moro on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services usage rules and any applicable Family Sharing, volume-purchase, or similar rules.
You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where applicable law expressly permits. You may not remove proprietary notices; scrape or index private areas; use bots or unauthorized automation; bypass rate limits or access controls; probe another user's data; disrupt infrastructure; or use Moro to build a competing dataset or service.
5. Your content
"Your Content" includes profile information, circle names, ideas, notes, links, venue proposals, votes, completion responses, reports, captions, photos, and other material you submit.
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, transmit, display to the audience you authorize, moderate, and otherwise process Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service; enforce these Terms and the Community Guidelines; and comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except to the extent a copy must remain temporarily in backups, has been shared into a record another user is entitled to retain, or must be preserved for legal, safety, or security reasons.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit Your Content and to authorize this processing. Do not upload a photo, link, name, or other material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not license private choices to friends. Maybe and Pass remain subject to Moro's private-response rules.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow the Community Guidelines. You may not use Moro to:
- threaten, stalk, harass, shame, intimidate, exploit, discriminate against, or endanger anyone;
- pressure someone to reveal a private response, retaliate for a response or nonresponse, or use side channels to defeat the private-choice design;
- create, solicit, possess, or distribute child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation content;
- facilitate violence, terrorism, trafficking, fraud, scams, illegal goods, or other unlawful activity;
- publish personal or confidential information without authorization;
- send spam, manipulate invitations, impersonate others, or use deceptive links;
- upload malware or interfere with Moro, Supabase, Apple services, Cloudflare, or another user's device or account;
- test, enumerate, replay, sell, publicly post, or harvest invitation tokens or other access credentials;
- evade a block, suspension, removal, or other safety control.
7. Invitations and circles
An invitation link is a private credential. Share it only with the intended person or group. A link may expire, be revoked, have a use limit, or stop working when the relevant circle or idea changes. Merely loading a web invitation page does not join a circle or consume the invitation; joining requires authentication and explicit confirmation in Moro.
Circle owners and coordinators may have limited management powers described in the app. Those roles do not give access to private responses or permit conduct that violates these Terms. Membership can change, and a circle or plan may be cancelled when too few eligible members remain.
8. Photos, links, maps, calendar, and notifications
You choose whether to select photos, search Apple Maps, save a finalized plan to Calendar, or allow notifications. Third-party content and place data may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or subject to separate rights. Verify venue, date, accessibility, cost, and safety information independently.
Moro opens Apple's calendar editor with plan information, but an event is saved only when you confirm it. Push notifications may be delayed, suppressed, duplicated, or unavailable because of device, network, Apple, or service conditions. Do not rely on a notification as your only source of important plan information.
Links can lead outside Moro. We do not endorse or control third-party sites, activities, businesses, venues, products, or services merely because a user linked to them.
9. Safety, reports, and enforcement
You can block people and report supported profiles, circles, ideas, or memories. Reports must be made in good faith. Do not knowingly submit false or misleading reports or use reporting to harass someone.
We may investigate, preserve relevant evidence, restrict content, revoke invitations, remove people from circles, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, or notify appropriate authorities when we reasonably believe it is necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the Service, or comply with law. We may not disclose all evidence, private choices, security methods, or action details. Where available, you may request an appeal through contact@thragna.com.
10. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled, including private-response rules, data retention, exports, and account deletion. You agree not to use information visible in Moro for surveillance, advertising, profiling, harassment, or purposes inconsistent with the audience and context in which it was shared.
11. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using Moro at any time and may initiate account deletion in You → Data and account. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete the server account. Deletion can affect shared circles and plans; some shared records may be anonymized rather than removed where necessary to protect other users' rights, preserve integrity, or meet legal and safety obligations.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, create risk or legal exposure, fail eligibility requirements, or if the Service can no longer be provided. Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal. You remain responsible for conduct before termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, licenses needed for retained records, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, disputes, and miscellaneous terms—will survive.
12. Third-party services
Moro relies on services provided by Apple, Supabase, and Cloudflare. Your use of Apple products and services is also governed by Apple's terms, and you must comply with applicable third-party terms, including wireless-data and venue or linked-site terms. We do not control third parties and are not responsible for their independent acts, omissions, availability, or terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Pricing and future features
Moro's core matching service is currently free. We may later offer optional paid features. Before any charge, the app will disclose the price, billing period, renewal terms, and material conditions. Apple will process App Store payments and refunds under its rules. We will not charge you merely because these Terms mention future paid features.
You are responsible for carrier, internet, device, travel, venue, activity, or other third-party costs.
14. Changes, availability, and updates
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may require a compatible app version for security or reliability. We will use reasonable care when making changes that affect active data or core privacy commitments, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may offer beta or pre-release features that are less reliable and may change.
15. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR SECURITY.
We do not warrant that Moro will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components; that data will never be lost; that invitations, notifications, matches, plans, maps, links, or user content will be accurate or available; or that any interaction or activity will be safe or successful. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Moro during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) US $100.
These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and they do not reduce any non-waivable consumer remedy.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mohammad Hassani from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, your unlawful or willful misuse of the Service, or your material violation of these Terms or another person's rights. This section does not require you to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
18. Governing law and individual disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory law where you live may apply. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Before filing a dispute, please email contact@thragna.com with a description and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt at informal resolution. Either party may bring an eligible individual matter in small-claims court. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, disputes will be brought on an individual basis in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in California; you and we consent to that court's personal jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or making a report to a government agency, and nothing waives a right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. We will post the current version at thragna.com/moro/terms, update the date and version, and provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance when a material change or applicable law requires it. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the Service and delete your account.
20. Apple App Store terms
The following terms apply to a copy of Moro obtained through Apple. If this section conflicts with another provision, this section controls only as necessary for Apple's role.
- Acknowledgment. These Terms are between you and us, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Moro and its content.
- Scope. Your license is non-transferable and limited to using Moro on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by the Apple Media Services usage rules, subject to permitted Family Sharing, volume purchasing, or similar access.
- Support. We are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide them.
- Warranty. We are solely responsible for any warranty not effectively disclaimed. If Moro fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Moro.
- Claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims relating to Moro or your possession or use of it, including product-liability, regulatory, consumer-protection, and privacy claims.
- Intellectual property. We, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging a third-party claim that Moro or your use of it infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Legal compliance. You make the embargo and restricted-party representations in Section 1.
- Developer contact. Questions, complaints, or claims should be directed to Mohammad Hassani at contact@thragna.com, California, United States.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party agreements while using Moro.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, when you accept them, may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement may also apply to the extent presented by the App Store and not displaced by these Terms.
21. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede prior terms on that subject.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain effective.
- No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them with the Service or by operation of law, subject to applicable notice and privacy obligations.
- No agency. These Terms do not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, or agency relationship.
- Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not change meaning.
- Electronic notices. We may provide notices in the app, by email, or at thragna.com/moro. You may send notices to contact@thragna.com.
